Compliance Formats - Support Preparation for Belgium (5P9)

SAP S/4HANA for advanced compliance reporting is a global legal reporting platform that caters to companies’ indirect tax reporting requirements. This scope item covers company codes outside of Belgium with tax registration in Belgium.

The solution enables the end-to-end process of legal reporting including multiple activities that may be necessary to complete the legal reporting.

The solution offers a unified and harmonized user experience across countries and reports, enabling a simplified view of the reporting status to the business users and the company’s head of tax and compliance. It also provides a design environment to easily create and extend additional report requirements.

This scope item is excluded from the default activation

The related Compliance Formats - Support Preparation (1J2) scope item has been restructured and no longer requires an additional license. Generating and downloading the legal file formats is possible as part of the underlying SAP S/4HANA Cloud license.

The advanced and additionally licensed features of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance for S/4HANA Cloud (the successor of SAP Advanced Compliance Reporting for S/4HANA Cloud, which has been discontinued) and are controlled via the Document and Reporting Compliance (5XU) scope item.

For a customer with S/4HANA Cloud license before Q4/2021:

If more than 24 declarations using Advanced Compliance reporting are made, either the additional license is required, or advanced features need to be switched off.

For customers having bought SAP S/4HANA Cloud before Q4/2021 advanced features are automatically visible. Only if Document and Reporting Compliance (5XU) is activated, visibility will be controlled according to the maintenance of this scope item.
