Internal Occupancy and Cost Allocation (5VZ)

To support internal occupancy scenarios, building, land, or group of spaces that was created in SAP Cloud for Real Estate, location management must be enabled for use before it can be assigned to internal parties. When you enable objects for use, they are synchronized with SAP S/4HANA and simultaneously assigned a company code, cost object, and usage type. You can optionally assign other attributes (such as all fixed assets assigned to the location) to the enabled group.

In internal occupancy and cost allocation, you can maintain occupancy rates with Enable Use Groups, assign occupying cost centers, and perform the periodic posting for internal cost allocation. A contract creation is not required.

Open Enable Real Estate Object for Use (F5465) app
Search for building or land to be assigned internally and object type
Enable object group with object category of internal with condition type, unit price, calculation formula, and measurement type
Search for building or land to be leased-out externally by company code and object type
Create object group with object category of internal
Perform periodic processing for internal occupancy
