• This scope item requires an additional SAP S/4HANA Cloud license

• This scope item is excluded from the default activation

This scope item requires an additional license when the customer uses advanced features of Document and reporting Compliance (formerly part of Advanced Compliance reporting).

For a customer with SAP S/4HANA Cloud license before Q4/2021:

If more than 24 declarations using Advanced Compliance reporting are made, either the additional license is required, or advanced features need to be switched off.

How the 24 declarations work: 

Identify the number of legal entities across countries and corresponding legal reports required by the customer. Then sum up the number of declarations required per legal entity, per report per year [e.g., one company code with a monthly VAT return = 12 declarations], additional or correction runs are counted as well.

How to switch off advanced features:

Note that for customers having bought SAP S/4HANA Cloud before Q4/2021 advanced features are automatically visible. Only if 5XU is activated, visibility is controlled according to the maintenance of this scope item.
